Microgenius wins Impact Hub Scholarship
Microgenius, the community shares online platform operated by the Community Shares Unit, has won a prestigious award for emerging social ventures.
The community shares site pitched against 15 other early-stage social enterprises to win the scholarship award offered by the Impact Hub, Westminster - one of the largest of a global network of locally owned collaborative working spaces for social start-ups.
The scholarship award means Microgenius will be based at the Impact Hub Westminster for the next nine months as part of its development programme, with a focus on expanding its functionality and application as a valuable digital tool for the finance and governance activities of co-operative and community benefit societies.
If you are interested in supporting the development of the platform, the CSU will be setting up an expert reference group which you can register your interest for.
