Power to Change reopens applications to its Initial Grants Programme
Power to Change, the new charitable trust supporting community business, has reopened its Initial Grants Programme after a short summer break, introducing a new simplified application process and a clearer set of criteria.
Community enterprises considering a community share offer and which have made good progress with their business plans may be interested in applying in order to access additional funding.
The grant programme is designed to help existing community businesses, which are in a position to make a step change in their journey towards long-term sustainability within the next six months.
To apply, enterprises must clearly demonstrate how it meets Power to Change’s community business criteria, evidence how this grant will positively contribute to its financial sustainability and request support for a maximum of six months for capital funding or 18 months for revenue funding.
The deadline for applications to the Initial Grants Programme is 12 noon 22nd October 2015.
